創立著名的Endless Collection的東京昆蟲收藏家遠藤俊次 (Toshitsugu Endo)於2008年8月17日病逝於東京, 享年61歲. 遠藤先生之本業為出版印刷業, 但早於青少年時期便對昆蟲產生濃厚之興趣, 因此在1990年代開始創立ESI (Endless Science Information)公司發行一系列的昆蟲圖鑑. 其中以日行性的蛾類一書最受人矚目.
